Describe your V54 booth:
I look for furniture, art, and accessories that can be the focal point of a room or the element that pulls a room together. I like to arrange my booth in vignettes to show how these items can be used. My style is eclectic.
How long have you been collecting and selling your wares?
I started collecting in 2012 when I had a booth at Reclamation.
Do you have a private collection and if so, what do you collect?
Art, vintage white pottery, rustic handmade pottery, Chinese clay teapots, vintage wooden bowls...and I just started collecting small chalk farm animals.
Who is your favorite artist?
I admire many artists in various fields...Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keefe and Mary Cassatt; who were brave enough to put their work out in public during a time when most artists were men. For architecture, I love the design of Skidmore, Owens & Merrill - my husband’s former employer. For interior design, the firm of McAlpine Tankersley...their interiors are so inspirational.
Do you have a career outside of V54?
Although I am no longer active in my career, I am a commercial interior designer by trade. My husband and I own Lohr Design, a commercial interior design firm in downtown Indianapolis.
What do you do for fun?
My husband and I love going on out of town buying trips for my booth. It’s the best...shopping, bargain hunting and a mini vacation all in one! Also, I have three grandchildren who are the most fun and my greatest joy!
And your family…
My husband Marc, daughters Maggie, Devon & Emme. grandchildren Lucas, Chloe & Remy and a dog named Louie and a cat named Bella Louise L’Orange.
Married to Jeff who owns Metropolitan Music and Cinema. Two dogs and two cats...no kids. My parents live in the town I grew up in - Bremen, IN and my sister lives and teaches in Mishawaka, IN and is the proud mom of my niece, Roan.
