10 Ways to Decorate with Vintage

Eclectic - deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. Decorating with vintage adds that flair of diversity to your home, dorm or workspace. Take the vintage desk lamp pictured above. Maybe brown isn't your color. No problem, buy a small can of paint and make it match your style. When that style changes no need to change the lamp....just the paint color. A vintage suitcase butler isn't just for hotels and suitcases. Place it folded up in your bedroom during the day, open it up before bed and voila....the perfect spot for all those decorative bed pillows! And the musical wooden frog will still play his tune with a pencil....perfect for any desk space!

Bedazzle any furnishing with some vintage beads...or for that matter, bedazzle yourself:)

Although cake is delicious and does deserve to be put on a pedestal cake stands help add height and variety to your decor...the perfect spot for a picture frame, a collection of perfume bottles...just use your imagination!

Glitzy gold candelabras look great in the garden or on a front porch. If gold isn't your color grab a can of spray paint for a brand new look! And with today's battery operated candles...even better!

Decorating with vintage is all about recycling and repurposing. This bedside table was first one side of an office desk. Put on some new hardware, add some stain and/or paint and this old set of desk drawers is on its second life!
