Vintage 54 Collective is hosting a HUGE outdoor market on September 16th from 9am - 3pm.
We have over 40 unique vendors, including art, antiques, boutique and handcrafted items.
The Outdoor Vintage Marketplace will take place at The Barrel Building, Vintage 54 Collective's home, on Saturday September 16 from 9am - 3pm. The owners of the building have been kind enough to allow use of the building's outdoor space for this event. We partnered with neighboring businesses Bent Rail Brewery, Hughey Automotive and TCC to make the most our little corner of SoBro.
This event is free to the public as well as kid and pet friendly.
The 40+ vendors that we have signed up are all interesting and unique! We have a wide range of clothing, art, antiques, furniture and more. There are vintage clothing vendors like Lux & Ivy and 9 Lives Vintage, as well as handmade and boutique clothing brands like Kindred Boheme, Three Dresses Project and Hoosier Proud.
Smith Family Vinyl and Vibes Music will be bringing loads of vintage records, furniture, vintage band tees & more. Local Artist Shannon Floyd of No See Tee will be doing "blind contour drawings" that can then be printed on t-shirts. GrundyWoodworks will have a selection of hand-built live edge wood furniture and custom lighting, and local artist LeighAnn Featheringill will be showcasing her beautiful ceramic art. In the true nature of a flea market event, there will also be loads of antiques, mid century modern and industrial furniture. With coffee from Hubbard & Cravens and sweet treats from our neighbors at The Gallery Pastry Shop and Tiny House Treats, there will be plenty to taste as well.
That's just scratching the surface - we have so many cool vendors signed up!
We are also partnering with local non-profit Do Good Indy, who will be set up with a donations drive and fundraising opportunities for the charity they are working with this month, Angel's Wings. They will be in the grassy area behind Bent Rail, along with Girls Rock! Indianapolis and their musical petting zoo. This "Community Activities" area will also feature outdoor games, henna tattoos, tarot readings & more.
The Vintage 54 Collection shop itself will be open inside from 9am - 5pm. After experiencing all this event has to offer, we hope that people will come inside to shop our unique collection, and then venture over to Bent Rail Brewery for some libations. Bent Rail will have their full brunch menu, bloody marys and mimosas, and their beers on tap.
